Attending classes daily is the best way to ensure success at school. Here at Shadow Ridge, we would like to reward excellent attendance. Each quarter we will recognize the class (freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors) that has the highest percentage of average daily attendance. The class that has the highest average daily attendance will be rewarded with different incentives, some of which may be dismissal to lunch five minutes early on a Friday, dismissal from school five minutes early, ice cream during lunch. Encourage your classmates to make it to class every day and this will help your class be recognized.
For quarter 2 the winning class is the SENIORS, AGAIN. This was very close with the seniors only winning by 1.17%.

If your son or daughter is planning on playing a spring sport such as baseball, men's golf, softball, swimming, track, or men's volleyball, please make sure to update / create their RMA (register my athlete) profile for the 19-20 school year, at www.registermyathlete.com. All athletes must turn in a completed physical packet and a disclosure form to the Shadow Ridge Athletic office by February 1, 2020. The physical packet and disclosure form can be found on register my athlete. Also, the spring sports informational night will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 6 pm in the theater. You may come by the Shadow Ridge athletic office, Monday - Friday, 6:30 am – 2:30 pm, for assistance, or call 702-799-6699 ext. 4200 with questions.
Student Delivery Policy
Student safety is our number one priority. With this in mind, Shadow Ridge High School will not accept deliveries for students. Our staff cannot verify the sender and deliveries cause an unnecessary interruption to the instructional day. Thank you for your understanding.
Athletic Game Policies
Students must have their current SRHS student IDs in order to purchase a ticket and get into athletic events. If students do not have their IDs, they will not be allowed into the game. Non-Shadow Ridge students will not be allowed to purchase a ticket or attend the game without an adult in attendance.
No backpacks or skateboards are allowed in the stadium.
The NIAA bans artificial noise makers.

Fall season passes are $60 and may be purchased at the gate.

Graduation Requirements for the Class of 2016 and Earlier
The State of Nevada has recently changed the graduation requirements for the Class of 2016 and earlier by eliminating proficieny exams. For more information on whether you qualify for a standard high school or adult standard diploma, please click here.
Driving around Shadow Ridge
We would like to remind students, parents, visitors, and staff to be cautious of pedestrians and other drivers traveling to and from Shadow Ridge High School. Please continue to follow all posted speed limits and advisories. This includes around Shadow Ridge and all neighborhoods surrounding Shadow Ridge. North Las Vegas Police Department and Las Vegas Metro Police Department will help monitor drivers and pedestrians. Remember to "Click-It or Ticket" and "Get on the Road to Zero." Help keep teens safe on Nevada's roads.
Parents and Students - For the safety of our students and employees, the parking lot in the back of the school is reserved for staff members only. Student drop-off is on the side streets or the front parking lot. Student parking is only allowed in the front parking lot.
Student Searches - Notice of Student Searches
Students are hereby informed that they will be subject to search when they enter campus after the beginning of the school day. This includes, but is not limited to, unauthorized returns. This notice does not exclude personnel, however, from searching a student at any time should there be reasonable suspicion of wrongdoing.
